Summit Announces Third ‘Twilight’ Film

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Sequels can often take years to get made, but fans looking to sink their teeth into more "Twilight" won’t have to wait too long.

The third film in the series, "Eclipse," will arrive on June 30, 2010, Summit Entertainment confirmed toAccess Hollywood. Sequel "New Moon" is due November 20 of this year.

Moreover, the series now has a name; based on the beloved novels of author Stephenie Meyer, the series has been officially named "The Twilight Saga."

Chris Weitz will helm "New Moon," which will see stars Robert Pattinson , Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles. Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who penned "Twilight," will adapt both "New Moon" and "Eclipse."

Miley Cyrus Defends “Cuddly” Relationship With Dad

Miley Cyrus wants people to stop dissing on her relationship with her dad.

In her upcoming memoir Miles to Go (out next month), she says she is annoyed at those who think she and father, country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus, are "too close or too cuddly."

She says she finds nothing "weird" about their relationship and believes some people are simply "full of anger, hatred and bitterness," she writes, according to an excerpt obtained by The Associated Press.

Billy Ray previously told Usmagazine.com he is proud of his daughter, 16, and can’t help but show her affection every now and then.

"She loves what she’s doing. She has a real passion for making music as an artist," he told Us. "She loves being an actress, and we all feel very fortunate being in the Disney family and getting to do both of our loves."
