Raymond gutierrez is new host of pinoy idol!

Raymond’s new hosting job on GMA-7 was formally announced yesterday, January 20, at Showbiz Central. The twin brother of Richard Gutierrez was chosen by GMA-7 to host the most-awaited Philippine franchise of the world’s number one singing competition dubbed as Pinoy Idol.
This is the biggest break for Raymond’s hosting career. He is also currently hosting Showbiz Central and SOP in GMA-7 and Livin’ It Up in QTV 11. Raymond will take the place of Ryan Agoncillo, who hosted Philippine Idol in ABC-5, where Mau Marcelo was declared the winner. Her runners-up, Gian Magdangal and Jan Nieto, are now part of Kapuso network’s SOP.
Raymond is, of course, excited about his new hosting job.

Gwen Stefani is three months pregnant with her second child.
The former No Doubt singer - who already has a 20-month-old son with husband Gavin Rossdale - was thrilled when the pregnancy was confirmed at Los Angeles Cedars Sinai hospital.
A source said: "They found out at the hospital and couldn’t wait to share the news with everyone. They’re absolutely ecstatic, it’s something they both really want."
Last October, Gwen, 38, revealed she was keen to have more children but wanted to wait until she had finished her tour, which is now over.
She said: "Obviously I’m in a race to have another one but I don’t want to do it while I’m on tour."
The ‘Hollaback Girl’ singer says becoming a mother to Kingston has changed her life for the better.
Britney’s Family Comes to Help!

Just hours after Britney Spears’s camp announced that she was seeking psychological treatment, the pop star was in the midst of yet another public breakdown.
The trouble began Monday evening, when Spears and her confidante Sam Lutfi went for a short drive around Beverly Hills. When they returned to her Summit home at around 6 p.m., the visibly distraught singer – who appeared to be arguing with Lutfi – jumped out of the white Mercedes near the guard gate.
Spears, clutching her Yorkie puppy London, wandered around with tears in her eyes and, at one point, sat down on the curb. “She looked completely lost,” says an on-scene source. Throughout it all, the gathered paparazzi snapped away.

They ‘re springing up all over Asia, but will They last?
Heading out to the mall – isn’t that yesterday’s way to shop?
Not in Asia, where land is cheap and labor costs are low. A building boom has enormous shopping malls popping up in China, Malaysia, and the Philippines, with India expected to jump into the fold soon. Based on gross leasable area, or the amount of space devoted to revenue-producing operations like stores, amusements and food, the continent is home to nine of the world’s 10 largest malls, six of which have been built since 2004. That’s added some 27 million square feet of shopping space to cities like Beijing and Guangzhou in China and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
While many traditional malls in North America are getting squeezed by a big-box era that includes the likes of Wal-Mart stores, Best Buy, and Target in nearly every county, Asia’s rapidly growing economy has spawned a new wave of consumers looking for places to shop and play.
Most of them are quite ritzy, too. A pair of Chinese malls that rank as the world’s two largest – the South China Mall in Dongguan and Golden Resources Mall in Beijing – include features like wind mills and kids’ theme parks. Golden Resources Mall is surrounded by newly built apartments and office buildings.
Just four years ago, the top 10 list would have included a pair of popular California destinations – South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and Del Amo Fashion Center in Los Angeles – along with the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania and the famed Mall of America in Bloomington
